Job Description
The Scientist will perform experiments and report data in support of ongoing method development. The position will be responsible for the validation and standardization including documentation, training, and coordination with the QA department. The analytical chemist will be responsible for ensuring ongoing maintenance of instrumentation, trouble-
shooting instruments and methods, and ongoing maintenance of methods and materials. This will include being at the forefront of changing requirements and alternative methods and materials. Routine calibrations and LOX determinations will be performed, along with other method maintenance activities. Method development projects will be initiated on demand to meet the needs of the organization. Supporting analysts in resolving complex problems as needed.
Coordinating with QA, procurement, client relations, business development, and external vendors and service providers as required. Other tasks may be required to support a fast-paced, flexible organization.


Primary Goal
The primary goal of the Scientist is to develop and maintain testing methodologies that meet organizational goals and in compliance with ISO-17025 and CCC requirements.


Primary Activities
Execution of experiments, reporting of results, standardization of methods, ongoing maintenance and support of instrumentation, methods, materials, and QA support.

Requirements
 Minimum of bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry or pharmaceutical related discipline
 Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory
 Computer skills including Microsoft office and instrumentation software
 Instrumentation experience including theory, application, and troubleshooting / maintenance
